I'm new here
Our Sunday Service begins at approximately 10AM on Sunday. Coffee is usually up by 9:45. On the first Sunday we serve bagels, coffee and juice until 10:15ish when worship begins.
Dress is casual, come just as you are!
Children's church is in the office area to the right before you enter the sanctuary.
Worship is 20 - 30 minutes of singing by our worship team in a variety of contemporary styles. Feel free to sing along in worship or pray and meditate. This is your time with God. We invite the congregation to stand at first, but feel free to sit or stand in the seats or at tables in back. The point is that God loves you deeply and desperately wants to touch you, heal you, guide you and make Himself known to you. He has provided complete forgiveness for all of us through Jesus Christ on the cross. He wants to remove all impediments to intimacy between you and Himself. We believe by simply giving the Lord this time of focus and greatfulness He will express Himself to you uniquely and powerfully. He already knows you. Come expecting to receive from Him.
As King David expressed to God,
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, you know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Psalm 139:1-6
At some point during the service we receive the tithes and offerings from those who support this fellowship. If it is your first time visiting please do not feel any pressure to give.
Usually after worship, we will have a message given by the pastor or another speaker which typically lasts about 30 minutes offering insight in the scriptures and passion for seeking God. It is our desire to remain open to the Holy Spirit to make changes to our plans at any time. We have at times sensed the Holy Spirit leading us to seek physical or emotional healing for those present and have moved into a time of prayer. Sometimes there are testimonies given from those in the audience which have been very enriching. Jesus said, "I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it." (Matt 16:18) Jesus is Lord of this church and we want Him to build it so we attempt to stay open to His leading and guidance at all times.
At the end of every service, the ministry team is available to pray with anyone with need at the front of the sanctuary. If you need physical or emotional healing, or are in difficulty of any kind, they will pray for you and with you. Part of what we expect on Sundays is for God to transform lives and we believe that this often happens through ministry. If you need us, we'll be there.
We hope that you find amongst us honest strugglers and seekers of God who are friendly and genuine.
We love you already, and hope you can join us soon! See our Contact page for directions and information.
